Breakfast awaits our early arrivals along with friends and a light activity to keep our hands busy. Assuring the children are safe, healthy and happy at 9:00am the center becomes “Preschool” with classes dismissing at noon to a hot lunch served “family style.” Afterwards, a time of rest, and napping brings the children to a time of outdoor fun, gym activities, or a fun project, until the exciting time of greeting family to go home!
Preschool
“Play is children’s work.” Through the spirit of play children express themselves, without threatening their sense of self. With carefully designed lessons, the children are carried through a day of adventures and challenges, focused on cognition, sensory perception, social skills, mathematics, science, nature, health, exercises, and more. Experiences that enfold as new information, gives them a sense of success. “This is fun.” They will tell you they played all day.
Summer Camp
Summer camp is where outdoors and playtime meet, and friendships flourish. A great way for your child to spend their summer. Still keeping our minds at work we jump into another world of fun. Connecting with nature campers will enjoy the summer days celebrating their time together. Water Wonders, Outer Space, Camping Out, Sports, At the Zoo, are among the many themes that will fuel excited and energetic kids.

Stone Church of Orland Park established the Stone Church Child Care Center to reach out to our community for those who seek endearing care for their children. Stone Church Child Care Center is a family- sized center surrounded by a phenomenal natural landscape. Our goal is for you to feel welcome and at home the moment you walk through our doors. We are dedicated to providing for the needs of your child. Our family like atmosphere is designed for our teachers to interact with children, believing that; “Children are a gift from God, to be cared for and nurtured to reach their fullest potential.”

We truly appreciate Stone Church Child Care Center. Before we found Stone, we had our 2 year old and 6 month old in an in-home-daycare. The provider cancelled last minute for the 2nd time in 2 weeks and we knew we needed to make a change. After being forced to take another day off of work, I called every daycare facility within 15 minutes of our house. I was so stressed and worried that we would have to sacrifice quality care by going to a regular daycare facility. We had toured several centers before our oldest was born and the experience left us thinking daycare centers are impersonal, full of turnover, loud and chaotic. When I walked into Stone, it was different. I was impressed with the consistency of the staff, the feeling of calm in the halls, and how happy everyone, including the staff, was to be there. I love that they have a wonderful outdoor area and a gym for the kids to run and play. Most of all, I love how much my children enjoy being at Stone. They are so happy to run down the hall to their classrooms. They tell me all about their teachers and their classmates. They come home with an incredible amount of creative artwork. I am in awe of how hard the staff works to make each day special and I know it is because they truly care for our children. Stone Church Child Care has surpassed all my hopes for care.
